Angela and Flaviu Andrea (new owners from September 2024) along with their daughter Maddy and son-in-law Dan, aim to maintain the family-friendly atmosphere while rejuvenating the garden centre with a fresh nurturing approach.

Our vision is to engage all ages, including the youngest, in discovering the magic of
gardening, aiming to transform the garden centre into a place offering not just a wide
variety of plants but also a renewed sense of well-being.  We plan to introduce interactive workshops, seasonal events, and educational programs that cater to both novice and experienced gardeners. Our hope is to create a vibrant community hub where everyone can share their passion for gardening and learn from one another.

In addition, we are committed to sustainability and will focus on eco-friendly
practices, such as promoting native plants, reducing waste, and encouraging organic
gardening methods. We believe by nurturing our environment, we can cultivate a
healthier and more beautiful world for future generations.  We invite you to join us on this exciting journey and become part of the Sturmer Garden Centre family. Let us grow, learn, and flourish together.  The Garden Centre will continue to be managed by the existing team of Keith and
Des, the latter having a 40 year history with the nursery.  The tea room, as it evolves in to a new Bistro will continue with Maria and Tanya at the helm creating delicious dishes for you to enjoy with some new seasonal flavours.
