Ajuga pyramidalis 'Metallica Crispa', commonly known as pyramidal bugle, is a compact alpine perennial prized for its distinctive, crinkled foliage with strong metallic bronze and purple tones. In late spring to early summer, it produces short spikes of deep blue flowers held just above the foliage, forming a dense, architectural mound.

The flowers provide an early nectar source for bees and other pollinating insects, making this plant ecologically valuable despite its small size.
