Astilbe Pink (Erika) - Bog Pond Plants - BP013

Astilbe 'Erika', commonly known as false spirea, is a clump-forming perennial with finely divided, fern-like green foliage that provides a soft, textured backdrop in shaded areas. In summer, it produces graceful, feathery plumes of bright pink flowers rising above the foliage, adding colour and vertical interest to woodland-style or mixed borders.

The flowers attract bees and other pollinators, giving the plant ecological value. Its compact, upright habit and long-lasting flower heads make it ideal for shaded borders, under trees or shrubs, and along pond edges where consistent moisture is available.
