Phlebodium aureum 'Davana' (Blue Star Fern)

The Blue star fern is native to the tropical rainforest of South America, often found in the canopy of rainforest growing as an epiphyte, which means  it attaches and grows on trees. Therefore this plant likes a warm, humid environment with dappled sunlight This particular variety is known for its sea green wavy ruffled foliage.

RATING: Moderate

LOVES: Keep in a warm semi-shady spot away from direct sunlight (this will scorch the leaves and dry the plant out). adore humidity - a humidifier or daily misting around the foliage are advisable.

HATES: Over and under-watering. Ensure you keep the soil is moist but not soggy throughout the year.
