A unique way to display your plants, rooted to a lava rock! Each Schefflera is rooted to a unique lava rock. The porous Lava rock absorbs the water and which is then absorbed by the plants roots. This is called capillary action. Make sure that the water is always topped up to around three quarters full for this plant to thrive! If the roots grow to long into the water - make sure to give them a little trim back. The Schefflera arboricola or 'Umbrella plant' has dark green matte leaves that are oval and arranged in star-like leaflet.
